Why? Digital is faster, more flexible, more precisely executed, maintains improved content quality and allows for much more accurate performance reporting. And, of course, digital costs less to produce than creating and distributing film prints.

Now while we didn't invent digital technology, NCM is revolutionizing how it's used in cinema - and how it's improving the movie-going experience.

NCM started by developing our own Digital Content Network (DCN) which delivers branded entertainment via satellite to audiences across the country. Currently, we are the only company offering this high-impact, big screen delivery difference.

We've meticulously built the single largest in-theatre High Definition network in the world to play HD commercials in all DCN auditoriums and lobbies. But it doesn't stop there. Over 400 of our largest theatres in 145 markets have expanded capabilities to show live and long-form HD content including concerts, sports and other exciting entertainment events.

Why is NCM so obsessed with HD? If you're not yet, you will be soon. HD provides a 30% to 50% increase in visual quality and 100% more detail than standard images.
